The Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Research Associate positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three years).

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experiments to study cell signaling and epigenetic mechanisms governing epidermis development, regeneration, stem cell activity, and tumorigenesis; generate and analyze genetic mouse models; apply genomics techniques including ChIP-seq, RNA-seq and ATAC-seq; present results at lab meetings and conferences; supervise junior lab members.
