UnityPoint Health is recruiting a Dermatologist to join a new multi-specialty building in Waukee, IA. You will join a physician-led, nonprofit health system focused on patient-centered care and teamwork to improve health outcomes.

The role offers an established outpatient practice with opportunities to utilize Mohs, cosmetic dermatology, and various skin procedures within a well-integrated UnityPoint Health network.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology; Mohs training optional.
• Ability to obtain and hold an Iowa medical license and to prescribe medications as needed or appropriate to dermatology.

Responsibilities

• Join a new multi-specialty building in Waukee with an opportunity to hire a Dermatologist.
• Establish and grow an outpatient dermatology practice within an integrated UnityPoint Health system.
• Provide patient-centered dermatology care with emphasis on Mohs, cosmetics, and skin procedures.
• Work full-time with dedicated administrative time and flexible scheduling to ensure patient access.
• Collaborate with clinics and hospitals using EPIC EMR to coordinate care.
• Contribute to a culture of belonging and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• New multi-specialty building with opportunity to hire one Dermatologist and one support Advanced Practitioner
• Established practice serving the growing Waukee community
• Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known system
• Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Specialty skills: Mohs, cosmetics, skin procedures
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology - Mohs training optional and supported
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
