Job summary

Berman Skin Institute in Walnut Creek is seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our established cosmetic dermatology practice. Positions are available for part-time or full-time, with a workload covering general medical dermatology as well as surgical and cosmetic procedures.

The role involves performing screenings and exams, and providing professional injectable treatments such as Juvéderm, Voluma, and Botox, along with a range of laser procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years experience in Dermatology.
Active California medical license.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

Workload includes general medical dermatology as well as surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Perform comprehensive screenings, history, and physical exams.
Provide professional injectable treatments (e.g., Juvéderm, Voluma, Botox) and laser procedures.
Assist in practice operations as requested by management.
Promote additional services and solicit referrals.

Dermatology Opportunity: Berman Skin Institute is seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our established and growing cosmetic dermatology practice for part-time or full-time working three-five days per week at our Walnut Creek location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Workload includes general medical dermatology as well as surgical and cosmetic dermatology
Perform comprehensive screenings, history, and physical exams
Provide consistent professional injectable treatments such as Juvéderm, Voluma, & Botox, with the ability to perform a variety of laser procedures.
Assist in all areas of practice operation as requested by practice management.
Promote additional services such as skin care products, and other aesthetic services and, soliciting referrals.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years experience in Dermatology required.
Active California medical license
Extensive knowledge in dermatological disorders, skin cancer, excisional/surgical procedures, shave biopsies
Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and with courtesy.
Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the practice.
Must have the ability to work autonomously.
