The role requires NY license, NCCPA certification, and dermatology experience; bilingual Spanish is a plus. J1/CONRAD waivers welcomed. Salary range is $135,000–$150,000 with potential incentives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or related field.
• Active New York license as a Physician Assistant.
• Certification by NCCPA is required.
• Graduate of an approved PA program with post-graduate surgical training.
• Dermatology work experience and ability to perform skin-related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform physical exams.
• Diagnose and treat dermatology conditions and assist in surgeries.
• Order and interpret tests and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide preventive care information.
• Assist in cosmetic procedures such as Botox and laser resurfacing.

Job Summary: The Physician Assistant will support the doctors’ work and actively facilitate patients’ recovery. You will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of a physician and you will deal with a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Take medical histories
• Perform physical exams, includingskin cancer screeningexams
• Diagnose and treat skin conditions, such asacne,eczema, androsacea
• Order and interpret tests
• Perform biopsies, wide excisions, and cryotherapy
• Develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medication
• Provide information about preventive care
• Perform certain minimally and non-invasive cosmetic procedures, such as Botox injections, laser skin resurfacing, and mild or moderate chemical peels
• Assist in surgeries, such as Mohs surgery

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree required
• Active New York license as a Physician Assistant and at least 6 months of working experience as a PA in Dermatology
• Currently New York Controlled Substance and Drug Enforcement Registration
• Master's degree
• Graduate of an approved PA Program and a post-graduate training program in surgery or at least one-year equivalent work experience
• Current Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Emergency Medicine / Family Practice/Acute Care
• DOT, BLS, ACLS Preferred
• Bilingual a plus - Spanish
• Proven work experience as a physician assistant or nurse
• Knowledge of EMR Systems preferred

Salary: $135,000-$150,000
