UC San Diego Health is seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our care team. The NP will manage patients within the UC San Diego Health market area under supervision of the physician team, contributing to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, and leadership.
Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited NP program, California RN and NP licenses, furnishing license, national NP board certification in dermatology, and BLS/CPR; two years of dermatology experience
Qualifications
- Must graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- California RN license, NP license, and Furnishing License Certification.
- National NP board certification in dermatology or aligned specialty.
- BLS/CPR certification at time of hire with plan to obtain BART within six months.
- Minimum two years of work experience as NP in medical dermatology.
Responsibilities
- Manage patients within the dermatology care team under physician supervision.
- Contribute to patient care excellence, research, teaching and leadership.
- Assist with procedures and coordinate care across the team.
