Qualifications

• CNP/NP license required.
• Graduate NP program or national association certification.
• Dermatology experience in clinic, hospital or nursing home.
• Dermatology specialization from an approved university (D.O./M.D./NP).
• Ability to diagnose and treat using standard methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and patient observations.
• Record patients' histories and symptoms.
• Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Monitor and operate medical equipment as needed.
• Diagnose health issues and communicate with the physician on call.
• Administer medications and other treatments.
