Job summary

Atrium Health Dermatology SouthPark in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient dermatology role. This position offers daytime clinic hours, no on-call, and no inpatient coverage, with strong clinical support.

You will evaluate and treat diverse dermatology conditions, develop treatment plans, educate patients, and document encounters in the EMR, collaborating with a team of dermatologists to deliver high-quality skin care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Eligible for North Carolina licensure.
• Current national certification as an NP or PA.
• Ability to obtain necessary credentialing and privileging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of dermatologic conditions.
• Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient management.
• Educate patients regarding skin health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Collaborate closely with dermatologists and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record.
