Job summary

Anne Arundel Dermatology seeks an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our North Atlanta team, splitting time between Duluth and Suwanee. This full-time position offers a four-day workweek, a strong patient base, and supportive clinical staff.

The ideal candidate has dermatology experience, strong procedural skills (biopsies, cryotherapy), and a commitment to high-quality patient care within a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience as NP/PA.
• Experience diagnosing and treating general dermatology conditions independently.
• Procedural skills including biopsies and cryotherapy preferred.
• Committed to efficient, high-quality patient care in a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in building long-term patient relationships and contributing to practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including skin biopsies and labs.
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage patients' dermatologic care and follow-up treatments.
• Perform dermatology procedures within scope of practice and training.
• Promote a professional, welcoming, patient-centered environment.
• Document encounters and plans of care in the EMR.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, skincare products and prevention.
• Build strong patient relationships and contribute to practice growth.
• Participate in provider meetings and continuing education.
