Job summary

The MedServ Group is actively seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team serving residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities. The NP will conduct exams, manage patient histories, and develop care plans, while ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and communicating with on-call physicians.

Experience in dermatology in clinical or nursing home settings is preferred. Compensation ranges from $35.00–$40.00 per patient or $60.00–$65.00 per hour, with typical hours 9AM–5PM and 20–25

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state registered Nurse Practitioner Program or certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a national association.
• Experience as a Dermatology NP in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
• D.O./M.D. or NP with dermatology specialization from an approved university.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and patient observations.
• Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
• Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
• Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
• Monitoring and operating medical equipment as needed.
• Diagnosing health issues and sharing findings with the physician on call.
• Administering medicine and other treatments.
• Managing a diverse staff and client-base and communicating health information effectively.
