Job summary

Epiphany Dermatology is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant with a passion for patient care and teamwork. The role supports physicians during procedures, documents visits, and helps manage prescriptions to ensure smooth appointments.

This full-time position offers substantial growth opportunities within a patient-focused dermatology practice. Qualified candidates have a state-approved Medical Assistant program, a GED or high school diploma, and are eligible to work in the United States

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program; extensive experience may be considered.
• Authorized to work in the United States without restriction; no visa sponsorship.
• Work environment may include standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 30 lbs in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best patient experience - warmly welcoming patients and prepping them for their visit.
• Assist during procedures, capture detailed visit notes, fulfill prescriptions, and support the provider to ensure smooth appointments.
• Maintain clinic flow by managing supplies and equipment, and optimizing room turnover.
• Be a reliable teammate by staying organized and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

OPERATIONS Full-time Manual Labor

Salary Range: $23.00 To $35.00 Hourly

• Provide the best patient experience - from warmly welcoming patients and prepping them for their visit to thoughtfully answering their care-related questions.
• Act as the right hand to the provider, supporting hands-on patient care by assisting during procedures, capturing detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, and anything else needed to ensure the appointment is as smooth and complete as possible.
• Keep the clinic running smoothly by staying on top of supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding the flow of exam rooms, and finding fun, creative ways to work smarter and more efficiently.
• Be a reliable teammate by jumping in to help, keeping things organized, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment.

Successful completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program. Employer may consider applicants based on extensive experience (unless required by state law).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
