Job summary

Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology clinics in Mount Pleasant, IA. The role involves rooming patients with the dermatologist, documenting vitals, and assisting with procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus.
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document all vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post op wound care to patients.
• Draw blood and suture removal.
• Clean and stock exam rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments.
