Job summary

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a dermatologist-led practice. You will assist clinicians, review medical histories, document dermatologic symptoms, and educate patients on treatments in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, computer literacy, and readiness to obtain CPR certification. Dermatology experience is preferred, with a professional MA credential valued.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be computer literate.
• CPR certification strongly preferred or obtainable within 4 weeks.
• At least 1 year of Dermatology experience preferred.
• MA certificate/diploma from medical vocational program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating skin conditions of patients.
• Assessing & updating medical history of patients.
• Keeping a record of patients’ dermatological symptoms.
• Analyzing info regarding the conditions of skin health.
• Informing patients about proper and available treatments.
• Conducting non-intrusive medical procedures.
• Educating patients about preventive skin care.
• Screening patients and employees daily upon entry.
