Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant for the Utah Valley Dermatology clinic in Provo, UT. This 24-hour-per-week role supports the clinical team by assisting the provider, gathering visit information, and communicating with patients via phone and in person to ensure quality care.

The position requires MA program completion or MA work experience, plus BLS, basic computer skills, and strong interpersonal abilities. We value teamwork and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• MA program completion OR at least one year of MA work experience OR current active RN/LPN license to practice nursing in Utah
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction
• Utah Only: MA residency program if certified with less than one year MA experience
