Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant for our Mount Vernon Office. The role supports dermatology, cosmetic and laser procedures, assists physicians, and ensures accurate documentation of treatments and prescriptions.

The ideal candidate has healthcare experience, is computer savvy with EMR systems, and demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills. Weekday and weekend availability is needed.

Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience in dermatology or healthcare settings is favored.
• Proficient with EMR systems and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in dermatology, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record treatments, medications, biopsies and prescriptions per guidelines.
• Prepare rooms and ensure equipment is functioning.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions to patients.
• Manage supplies and participate in ongoing training.
