Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut in Hamden, CT is seeking a Full Time Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work alongside experienced dermatologists, assist with rooming patients, update EMR information, and support biopsies and minor procedures.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification and EMR experience; EMA experience is a bonus. We value reliability, patient‑centered care, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with EMR systems (EMA is a bonus).
• Dermatology experience preferred but not required.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintains strict sterile techniques and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and update information in the EMR.
• Assist with biopsies and minor surgical procedures.
• Transcribe for providers during exams and administer local anesthesia.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and aftercare.
• Manage prescriptions, pathology, and labs; assist with cosmetic procedures.
• Stock exam rooms and sanitize work areas; travel between offices.
