QualDerm Partners in Greenville, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations. You will prep patients, assist physicians, and help manage exams, labs, and records in a fast-paced dermatology practice.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and MA certification (preferred), strong communication, and familiarity with dermatology terminology. EHR proficiency and reliability are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology, especially in dermatology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures, ensuring instruments and equipment are ready.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens for analysis.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Manage patient scheduling and office communication effectively.
• Educate patients on treatment options, medications, and skincare practices.
