Job summary

Dermatology Specialists of Shelby/Rochester is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to serve both Shelby Township and Rochester Hills clinics. The position requires working in two locations with a rotating Saturday schedule; compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

You will assist physicians with patient care, prepare rooms, maintain charts, verify documents, document patient information, and support procedures while updating the EMR system and ensuring timely service.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion of Medical Assistance Program; BCLS Certification; CMA certifications preferred but not required.
• Customer First approach; responsive, helpful, conscientious with patients and internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the rooms.
• Pulling and maintaining charts.

• Updating the EMR system.
• Performing cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks.
