Job summary

Bethany Medical Clinic of New York is seeking an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant to join a collaborative team. The position is based primarily at our Murray Hill and Columbus Circle locations, with occasional travel to other NYC offices.

You will work closely with the dermatologist and dermatology physician assistant, assisting with both medical and cosmetic dermatology while supporting the integrated primary care team.

Qualifications

• Experienced as a Medical Assistant with dermatology experience is required.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care and support dermatology and primary care teams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations and procedures.
• Assist with dermatologic procedures including skin biopsies, Botox and cosmetic injections, fillers, VI Peels.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection; obtain vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing when needed.
• Assist with COVID-19 testing and other clinical procedures; support front desk operations as needed.

Bethany Medical Clinic of New York is seeking an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our collaborative team. This position is based primarily at our Murray Hill location (222 East 31st Street) and our Columbus Circle location (200 W 57th Street), with occasional travel to our other New York City offices as needed.

What You'll Do:

You'll work closely with our Dermatologist and Dermatology Physician Assistant, assisting with both medical and cosmetic dermatology while also supporting our integrated primary care team.

Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations and procedures.
• Assisting with dermatologic procedures including:
  • Skin biopsies.
  • Botox and cosmetic injections.
  • Fillers.
  • VI Peels.
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Obtaining vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing when needed.
• Assisting with COVID-19 testing and other clinical procedures.
• Supporting front desk operations as needed to provide seamless patient care.
• Helping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Providing exceptional patient service from check-in through follow-up.
