Alabama Dermatology and Rejuvenation Center, PC is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our high-volume dermatology, Mohs surgery, and cosmetic practice. The ideal candidate must be professional, personable, and committed to quality patient care and impeccable service. Responsibilities include routine patient care, patient education, and supporting providers and staff in examining and treating patients.

Job Requirements:

• EMA experience a plus
• Minimum 2+ years as a CMA in dermatology or surgical practice
• Dermatology experience a plus
• Proficiency with scribing and electronic medical records
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Reliability and team orientation
• Attention to detail and service orientation
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Hours: 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness
• Assist physicians with exams, procedures, and clinical tasks such as sutures, dressings, injections, and documentation
• Scribe for providers
• Experience with MIPs preferred
• Provide post-care instructions
• Monitor and manage inventory of supplies
• Demonstrate clinical expertise
• Assist with scheduling tests and treatments
• Complete lab tasks and maintain equipment
• Record results in patient charts
• Apply sterile techniques and procedures as needed
