Job summary

Schweiger Healthcare in Hoboken, NJ seeks a Lead Medical Assistant to supervise and support Physicians, PAs, and MAs in a busy dermatology clinic. You will assist in medical, cosmetic, allergy, and laser procedures, prep and clean rooms, and ensure smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of dermatology/medical experience, are proficient with EMR systems, and comfortable using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a dermatology/medical environment preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Professional, reliable, and dedicated employee.

Responsibilities

• Lead Medical Assistant duties with supervision and staff development at the Hoboken office.
• Assist physicians in medical, cosmetic, allergy, and laser procedures; prep and clean exam rooms.
• Ensure daily operations follow policies and protocols; supervise front desk coverage as needed.
• Monitor consumables and inventory; place orders and manage costs.
• Maintain HIPAA/OSHA regulations and assist in onboarding and training of staff.
