Job summary

UTMB Health's Department of Dermatology seeks a faculty-support physician to meet teaching, research, and patient care needs within an academic medical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school; residency in Dermatology completed; board eligible or certified in Dermatology; eligible for Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care (inpatient and outpatient).
• Offer consultative services and participate in teaching activities (conferences, lectures, bedside teaching, rounds).
• Supervise house staff in operating room, clinics, and inpatient services; participate in CME and meetings.
• Administrative duties including supervising and evaluating residents, medical direction, and departmental/Health System committee involvement.

Education

Graduate of an accredited medical school

ACGME dermatology residency completed

Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology

Texas medical license without restrictions (eligibility)
