Job summary

Atria Health is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our multidisciplinary dermatology team in NYC. You will provide proactive, longitudinal skin care—including full-body skin exams, early detection of skin cancer, and interpretation of Vectra 3D total body imaging—with the support of a world-class team and advanced diagnostics.

Qualifications

• NYS Nurse Practitioner or PA license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical dermatology experience.
• Dermatoscopy experience preferred or willing to learn.
• Proficient with dermatology imaging and EMR systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct or assist with full body skin exams using Vectra 3D imaging.
• Coordinate care with on-site and off-site dermatologists for biopsies or Mohs surgery.
• Perform shave and punch biopsies and minor dermatologic procedures.
• Diagnose and manage common dermatoses such as acne, eczema, warts.
• Document findings in DermaGraphix and Athena EMR.
• Assist with prescription management as indicated.
• Review member messages and coordinate care with dermatology teams.
• Review pathology/lab results and finalize care plans with the member.
• Participate in research initiatives using Vectra 3D imaging.
• Collaborate with primary care and other specialties for integrated care.

About the Role:

We are seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our multidisciplinary clinical team in NYC. In this role, you will provide proactive, longitudinal skin care—including full-body skin exams, early detection of skin cancer, and interpretation of Vectra 3D total body imaging—with the support of a world-class team and advanced diagnostics. You will also collaborate with internal medicine, pediatric and specialty colleagues in a modern, tech-enabled, high-touch environment to provide medical dermatology and case management for chronic skin conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and/or assist with early detection and prevention full body skin exams for adults by leveraging Vectra 3D imaging to identify changes, guide biopsies, and support timely intervention.
• Liaise with on‑site and off‑site dermatologists caring for our members to provide coordinated care and best‑in‑class medical care for skin lesions requiring biopsy, excision/Mohs surgery, or close follow up.
• Perform and/or assist with shave and punch biopsies and minor medical dermatologic procedures
• Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions including warts, acne, eczema and other conditions.
• Assist with documentation of clinical and Vectra findings in DermaGraphix and Athena EMR
• Assist with prescription management as indicated
• Review, triage, and efficiently and thoughtfully respond to member messages; liaise with on‑site and off‑site dermatologists to provide coordinated care
• Review results (e.g. pathology and laboratory reports); Notify on‑site and off‑site dermatologist of findings and help with finalizing a care plan; assist with communication of results and care plan to the member
• Participate in dermatology research initiatives with Vectra 3D technology, advancing data‑driven, cutting‑edge skin health and cancer prevention studies
• Coordinate closely with primary care clinicians and across disciplines to deliver integrated, personalized care

• Nurse Practitioner’s licenses in the state of NY
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical dermatology required
• Proficiency in punch biopsy and minor procedures of medical dermatology preferred
• Licensed in NY (required)
• Dermoscopy experience (preferred) or willingness to learn dermoscopy
• Technology proficient and able to trouble shoot and work with the systems required for care
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to team‑based care
• Work onsite 5 days per week
• Comfort working in a modern, tech‑enabled practice

Compensation $170,000-$190,000
