Job summary

The VA Health Care Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a board-certified or eligible Dermatologist for a full-time position within an outpatient/ambulatory setting. The role offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities for teaching and resident collaboration.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with possible compressed hours and no night or weekend calls. Tele-dermatology services are included to support veterans across care settings.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Dermatology.
• Licensed to practice in the United States.
• Completion of a dermatology residency in an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient/ambulatory dermatology care including face-to-face clinics and tele-dermatology.
• Collaborate with medical students and residents; participate in teaching and research if desired.

Are you a passionate full-time dermatologist seeking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our Veterans? The VA Health Care Center in vibrant Charlotte, NC, is looking for a dedicated, board-certified dermatologist to join our compassionate team.

Position Highlights:

• Full-Time Dermatologist

• Salary Range: $275,000 - $385,000 (Sign-on bonus Authorized)

• Practice Environment: Outpatient/ambulatory dermatology consultative practice, including face-to-face clinics and tele-dermatology services

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; compressed work schedule available; no nights or weekend calls

• Teaching & Research Opportunities: Collaborate with medical students and residents; research encouraged but not mandatory

Candidate Qualifications:

• Board-certified or eligible in Dermatology

• U.S. Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is impossible to recruit qualified citizens, in accordance with VA Policy.

• Education: A Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine is required.

• Licensure: Candidates must possess a current, complete, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

• Residency: Completion of a residency program in an accredited core specialty
