Halo Skin Institute in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Mohs Surgeon to join a growing practice. The role offers a mix of Mohs surgery and general dermatology with a collaborative team and modern resources.

The ideal candidate is board-certified/board-eligible in Dermatology and Mohs, with completed Dermatology residency and Mohs fellowship, and eligible for medical licensure in California. The position includes a 50% collections compensation, benefits, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in California.
• Strong surgical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery to remove skin cancer tumors and interpret histopathologic findings to ensure clear margins.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate results and treatment plans clearly.
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to practice standards of care.

Halo Skin Institute is seeking a Mohs Surgeon to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mohs Surgeon to work alongside a collaborative team of providers and support staff dedicated to delivering high-quality dermatologic care.

The ideal Mohs Surgeon will be committed to clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and working within a team-oriented environment. We currently have 3 full-time, and 3 part-time providers across three locations in Rocklin, Folsom, and Auburn. We have approximately 50 Mohs cases a week and continuing to grow on a weekly basis, providing a great opportunity for a Mohs Surgeon in our practice!
