French Consulting seeks a board-certified dermatologist to provide independent dermatology care at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. This role covers medical, procedural, and consultative dermatology with teaching responsibilities for residents and medical staff.

Join a mission-driven team with daytime hours Monday–Friday, 0700–1600, and a 12-month base period with four 12-month option years. Start ASAP after credentialing and privileging; Colorado license and DoD/VA experience

Qualifications

• MD or DO medical degree; foreign grads must hold ECFMG
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited dermatology residency or fellowship
• Current American Board of Dermatology or American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology certification (or actively maintaining certification)
• Current, valid, unrestricted medical license (U.S. jurisdiction, Colorado)
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat diseases of the skin, hair, nails, mucous membranes, and subcutaneous tissue
• Perform biopsies and other diagnostic techniques, and determine clinical laboratory testing needs
• Prescribe treatment, including medications, cutaneous laser treatments, phototherapy, iontophoresis, and photodynamic therapy
• Eradicate biopsy-proven cutaneous malignancies, or refer patients to the appropriate provider
• Provide consultative services to clinics and evaluate patients referred by the Emergency Department
• Instruct medical students, residents, and nursing staff; participate in quality assurance and Joint Commission standards
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and complete notes before your last day
