Defense Health Agency, located at Naval Medical Center in San Diego, seeks a Physician (Dermatology) to provide comprehensive skin care for military members and families in a high-volume outpatient setting with inpatient consults. The role requires completed dermatology training and an active US license.

The position may involve responsive care for acute dermatologic emergencies and coordination with resident physicians and other operational units.

Competenze

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from a US/Canada accredited school.
Current, active medical license in a US state or territory.
Residency in Dermatology with at least 4 years of specialized training.

Mansioni

Provide comprehensive dermatologic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for active-duty service members, retirees, and dependents in a high-volume outpatient clinic.
Evaluate and manage acute dermatologic emergencies such as severe drug reactions and complex infections.
Observe resident clinical encounters, procedures, and inpatient consultations.
Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage, intralesional injections, phototherapy oversight, and minor surgical excisions.
Provide dermatology consultation services to inpatient units, emergency departments, and operational units.
