DataAnnotation is seeking experienced dermatologists and clinicians to help train AI models by evaluating and refining their clinical reasoning. You will measure how well AI responses answer dermatology questions, assess reasoning quality, and help improve each new version.

This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling and remote work from home. Projects are paid hourly, with PayPal handling payments and currency conversions where needed.

Competenze

• Fluent English, native or bilingual level.
• Detail-oriented, with clear, well-organized writing.
• Licensed clinician in the United States (dermatologist, physician, PA, NP, nurse, etc.). Residents and fellows welcome.
• Licensed clinicians outside the US are encouraged to apply.
• Hands-on clinical experience with skin, hair, and nails conditions.

About The Job

We are looking for experienced Dermatologists and clinicians with dermatology expertise to help train AI models. You will measure how well these models answer clinical questions, check their reasoning, and help raise the quality of each new version.

We're currently expanding into an exciting new area: dermatology. You'll help teach AI to reason about conditions of the skin, hair, and nails the way a skilled dermatologist would: reading a presentation, building a differential, and knowing what actually changes management. This opportunity is open to dermatologists, licensed physicians in other specialties, and licensed nurses.

In This Role, You May

• Review AI responses to clinical questions alongside the context a clinician would have when answering them
• Rate each response on accuracy, completeness, safety, and usefulness to the person asking
• Compare two independent responses to the same question, decide which one a clinician would rely on, and log each discrepancy
• Write a clear, detailed rationale explaining your call, including what the weaker response still got right
• Pinpoint what model responses miss, misstate, or leave incomplete, from incomplete differentials to missed red flags

Qualifications

• Licensed clinicians outside the US (Australia, Canada, UK, and elsewhere) are also encouraged to apply
• Hands-on clinical experience with conditions of the skin, hair, and nails

Payment is made via PayPal. We will never ask for any money from you. PayPal will handle any currency conversions from USD. We currently prioritize US-licensed applicants and also consider applicants from Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Some projects, especially embedded roles, may be limited to specific locations or time zones. This is an independent contractor position.
