Job summary

Crossover Health in Austin is seeking a Dermatologist for a part-time position (20 hours per week) to deliver comprehensive dermatology services, including preventive full-body skin exams, minor procedures, and management of acute and chronic skin conditions. You will work within our Primary Health model, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team and documenting in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Completion of MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Dermatology.
• Active Medical License in the State of Practice.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience providing dermatology care in a clinical setting.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates acute and chronic dermatological conditions.
• Completes full-body preventive skin examinations.
• Performs minor in-clinic procedures.
• Prescribes medications as appropriate.
• Provides evidence-based, timely, compassionate care to a wide range of individuals.
• Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team, including primary care physicians, physical medicine providers, behavioral health specialists and coaches, etc.
• Completes thorough documentation, using EMR and other integrated tools.
• Keeps open lines of respectful communication with other providers, clinic staff, and patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
