Job summary

National Futures Association (NFA) seeks an intern in our Chicago office to gain hands-on regulatory experience in the derivatives markets. You will join a high-performing team, assist in evaluating documents, procedures and financial statements for compliance issues, and participate in industry-specific training.

This internship is designed for students pursuing business degrees with strong GPA, accounting coursework, and the ability to work full-time in Chicago starting June 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a business-oriented major with expected graduation within one year.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Nine credit hours of accounting, including an intermediate accounting class, by graduation.
• Ability to work in NFA's Chicago office full-time beginning June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist us in evaluating documents, procedures and financial statements for possible compliance deficiencies or rule violations.
• Learn about the complex derivatives markets from our staff and gain hands-on experience on projects with your team.
• Develop analytical and risk assessment skills through industry-specific training and mentoring.
