Genesee Valley Educational Partnership is seeking a Deputy Superintendent to oversee district-wide operations and provide strategic leadership. The role will assist in superintendent searches, supervise BOCES programs, and guide the human resources and labor relations functions.

The successful candidate will direct budget construction and management, lead field training for component districts, and manage external communications and public relations efforts.

Qualifications

• New York State Certificate SDA or SDL is required.
• Seven years of experience in public school administration, three of which must be in curriculum and instruction.
• At least five years of experience as a public-school teacher or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assists the District Superintendent with superintendent searches and supervises in the general operations of BOCES programs.
• Provide leadership to the Human Resources and Labor Relations department.
• Constructs and manages budgets under supervisory areas.
• Direct field training to the component school districts and Genesee Valley BOCES.
• Public relations and communications.
