El Dorado County Sheriff's Office seeks qualified Deputy Sheriff I/II candidates for South Lake Tahoe. The role starts with Placerville training and may transfer to South Lake Tahoe after field training to serve the community with proactive law enforcement.

Ideal candidates have a POST-certified academy or POST waiver, a valid driver's license, and age 21+. Out-of-state applicants may be hired as Deputy I if not CA POST certified; Deputy II requires a POST certificate.

Formación

• Experienced law enforcement officer with sound judgment.
• Out-of-state candidates must have POST waiver prior to appointment.
• CA POST Basic Certificate required for Deputy II; Deputy I level if not.

Responsabilidades

• Serve and protect the community as a Deputy Sheriff.
• Train at Placerville with potential transfer to South Lake Tahoe.
• Participate in field training during placement.
• Specialty assignments available (OES, SAR, Court Security, etc.)
