Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls and emergencies to deter crime and ensure community safety.
• Develops relationships with citizens and organizations to foster trust and cooperation.
• Enforces federal, state, and local laws, including issuing citations and making arrests.
• Investigates crimes, gathers evidence, interviews witnesses, and prepares reports.
• Apprehends suspects and uses appropriate force as needed.
• Conducts wellness checks and property security checks.
• Testifies in court when required.
• Collects evidence per agency standards.
• All CCSO employees may be deployed countywide as needed.
