Qualifications

• One year of law enforcement experience desirable.
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
• Pursuant to Government Code Section 1031(a): be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated geographic areas and address peace-related situations.
• Enforce laws and ordinances, conduct investigations, and prepare reports.
• Engage in crime prevention and suppression and provide information to the public.
• Testify in court and support department policies and procedures.
