Trax International is seeking a Deputy Program Manager for the WSMR MSS program in Las Cruces, NM. The role covers technical and administrative leadership, contract and subcontract management, and coordination with government customers to ensure project success.
The Deputy PM will work with the PM and Government KO/CORs to manage schedules, resources, and deliverables, including on-site presence within two hours as needed.

CONTRACT PENDING AWARD. The Deputy Program Manager serves as the alternate or Deputy PM in the absence of the Program Manager and assists in the management of the overall technical and administrative support activities for personnel in the execution of test support services at the US Army White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) - Mission Support Services (MSS). Acts as the alternate company point of contact for TRAX, with authority to execute contract modifications, subcontracts, and purchase orders. Reviews test plans for resource and workload allocations, resolves conflicts, updates milestone schedules, and ensures timely test support. Assesses projected workloads, matches to available resources, and coordinates with WSMR - MSS personnel on issues and requirements. Monitors contract deliverables to meet or exceed requirements in accordance with Government guidance and regulatory requirements. Establishes, approves, and ensures compliance with all WSMR and Army policies and procedures. Coordinates with the PM and serves as needed as a technical interface with the WSMR customer on purchase orders, inventory, and other requirements. Regularly meets with the TRAX PM and primary Government contacts (KO and CORs).
The designated alternate or Deputy Program Manager shall be available during normal duty hours within two (2) hours after notification to meet on the installation with Government personnel designated by the KO to discuss problem areas. After normal hours, the Deputy Program Manager shall be available on site within two (2) hours. The Contractor shall designate a Deputy Program Manager to act on behalf of the Contractor in the absence of the Program Manager. The Deputy Program Manager may fulfill other managerial responsibilities.
