Job summary

ECS is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to lead the DHS CDM program from our Fairfax, VA office. Lead day-to-day operations of CDM technical teams, align engineering work with SAFe and ITIL practices, and supervise staffing and security processes.

You will drive delivery across systems engineering, release planning, and production operations while partnering with the customer to define delivery frameworks and ensure program objectives are met.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive cybersecurity and program leadership experience.
• Experience starting and managing multiple high-visibility IT/cybersecurity projects.
• Proven knowledge and experience managing projects supporting the Federal government.
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional, matrixed engineering teams to deliver IT solutions.
• A demonstrated aptitude for complex problem solving and leading teams to success.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of CDM technical teams and SAFe delivery.
• Coordinate daily operations and management of engineering tasking and delivery.
• Ensure technical SLA oversight and alignment of plans with SLAs.
• Oversee staffing, onboarding, and security processes across teams.
• Define and implement end-to-end systems engineering practices and improvements.
• Support program management duties and SAFe delivery across projects.

Job description

ECS is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to work in our Fairfax, VA office. Everforth ECS is seeking an experienced cyber leader to serve as the Deputy Program Manager to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program, providing day-to-day oversight and leadership of CDM technical team operations including solution design, configuration, testing, release management, production operations, security engineering, and knowledge management services using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ITIL methodologies. The ideal candidate will operate as a \"servant leader\" to a team of over 200 individuals by proactively seeking ways to define and improve processes to align and optimize resources across functional areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Operations Leadership
• Manage the day-to-day execution of all technical delivery teams to ensure seamless operational flow
• Oversee day-to-day engineering task oversight and management
• Provide technical SLA oversight and ensure SLAs are reflected in team plans
• Monitor and manage oversight of critical path items
• Workforce & Performance Management
• Ensure the right people are in the right positions (manage technical staffing)
• Conduct resource estimation, staff alignment, and accountability

Salary

Salary: $190,000 - $210,000
