Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Manager Software Engineering 3 to serve as the Deputy Program Manager for DSP, overseeing a data solutions portfolio and agile execution. You will report to the Director, DSP, guiding staff and delivering complex data, AI, and cyber initiatives.

The role requires a strong program-management background, technical leadership, and an active U.S. Government Secret clearance, with the ability to pursue Top Secret.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with related software or systems experience; or MS with related experience.
• Experience in program management: planning, risk, cost, schedule, quality on large contracts.
• Experience with baseline development and management.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance, able to obtain DoD Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and correct portfolio programmatic activities.
• Serve as Delegation of Authority when the Director is unavailable.
• Explain product execution metrics with DSP leadership.
• Advise on staffing, skill sets, and operations.
• Lead collaboration and drive engineering delivery across teams.
