Job summary

New Terminal One at JFK Airport seeks a highly analytical Deputy Financial Controller to lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and performance insights for the landmark project.

You will partner with the Controller and Finance Director, manage a team of 3–5, and collaborate with cross-functional heads to align financial plans with strategy. Onsite work at JFK with strict security and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in the control function and in an FP&A role, with 3+ years managing teams.
• Advanced certifications are highly preferred: CPA, Corporate FP&A Professional (FPAC), MBA.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, multi-year strategic plans, and rolling forecast models.
• Coordinate cash flow planning with the project finance team to ensure consistency across instruments.
• Develop executive dashboards and internal reporting frameworks for key financial metrics.
• Present financial stories clearly for executive committee review sessions.
• Partner with the Financial Controller and department heads on resource allocation and headcount.
