Job summary

All on the Field (AOTF) is hiring a Deputy Field Director for the 2026 Mississippi canvass program across DeSoto County, North Mississippi, and the Delta. The Deputy runs day-to-day field management and owns training delivery across the program, working primarily in the field with regional directors and team leads.

The role focuses on developing field staff, mentoring them through the program, and supporting their performance as they take on turf of their own.

Qualifications

• This role requires 2+ field cycles with direct field-team management.
• Experience training staff, including building and running trainings.
• Strong ability to travel regionally and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as second-in-command on the field program and step in for the State Field Director as needed.
• Deliver the program's training: onboarding for new field staff and ongoing skill-building.
• Mentor Regional Field Directors and team leads through ride-alongs and in-field coaching.
• Run day-to-day management rhythm across regions including launches and debriefs.
• Capture field feedback on voter sentiment and message resonance.
• Travel weekly across program turf and maintain regional presence.
• Identify underperforming regions and address them with leadership.
