Job summary

Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced General Manager to join as Deputy Associate Director of Operations for the ESNEFT portfolio. The role focuses on pathway redesign, service transformation, and leading improvements in performance, quality and financial sustainability, with collaboration across clinical teams in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day and strategic management of the Division.
Responsible for the quality of service delivery and meeting key performance indicators.
Liaising with external agencies as appropriate, including being the first point of contact for the portfolio.
Responsible for budget and physical resources such as estates and equipment within the portfolio.
Attending Divisional management team meetings, Divisional Board meetings, CDG Board / Governance meetings and being an active member of the senior management team.
Deputise for the Associate Director of Operations where necessary.
