Based in our Chicago office, you will coordinate with visuals, data, and platform teams to maximize reach across Dow Jones platforms, while maintaining fairness, accuracy, and high journalistic standards.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of journalism experience with a track record as editor or reporter
• Proven ability to identify important stories, drive coverage and deliver scoops
• Strong communication, writing and editing skills, mentoring journalists

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Bureau Chief to manage daily operations, story assignments and long-term planning
• Edit fast-breaking news, updates, and enterprise stories with speed, accuracy and fairness
• Guide reporters toward high-impact feature and investigative work while maintaining high standards
