Job summary

DC Government seeks a Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audits (DAIGA) to support the Audit Unit. Qualifications

• 511 series degree requirement: accounting, auditing, or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting (up to 6 hours law).
• At least 10+ years of experience managing a team, or leading an operation.
• Work is performed in a normal office setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, track, and manage audits and oversight activities with the AIGA.
• Lead development and enforcement of policies to ensure compliance with GAGAS and project management principles.
