A leading semiconductor manufacturer located in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Depth Sensor Characterization Engineer for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SPAD-based depth sensors and expertise in Python, MATLAB, and C++. Responsibilities include bringing up hardware, characterizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A graduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with the characterization and evaluation of a variety of depth sensors.
Experience with EE board design and bringing up.
Experience in MIPI C‑PHY, I3C, Git version control.
Responsibilities
Bring up hardware, firmware and software solutions provided by the vendor.
Characterize performance, features, and functional blocks in depth sensors.
Work with cross‑functional teams to define key sensor parameters for development.
Collect and analyze data based on defined test plan.
Skills
Deep understanding of SPADs and SPAD-based depth sensors
Familiar with laboratory environment (equipment, automation)
Fluent in Python
