Job summary

Nuvodia, LLC is seeking a Deployment Systems Engineer II for a regular, full‑time onsite role in Spokane Valley, WA.   • Document test and cutover plans following change management procedures.
  • Provide training and hand‑off to operations after go‑live.
  • Travel regionally as required; support weekend work and on‑call rotation.

Job description

Base Pay Range: $31.57 - $50.76

Deployment Systems Engineer II – Regular, full‑time position working Monday‑Friday onsite in Spokane Valley, WA. Includes on‑call rotation and night and weekend work assignments.

Overview

Implement technology projects for clients in partnership with project management, third‑party vendors, and internal technical teams. Focuses on deploying, configuring, testing, and documenting IT infrastructure and cloud solutions while ensuring successful project delivery and a positive client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with customers, internal team members, and vendors via phone, video conference, onsite, and remote to implement technology projects.
  • Participate in project kick‑off meetings and collaborate with project management to plan and schedule delivery.
  • Review bill‑of‑materials (BoM) for quality control prior to procurement and validate accuracy before implementation.
  • Build, configure, and deploy network, system, cloud, and security solutions.
  • Communicate project status and keep project tasks updated in project management software weekly.
  • Document and execute test and cutover plans, following change management procedures.
  • Create technical as‑built documentation and provide training and hand‑off to operational support.
  • Provide high‑touch support immediately after project implementation and go‑live.
  • Share project feedback, implementation insights, and lessons learned with project teams and sales engineering.
  • Assist with solution reviews and implementation planning as needed.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and promptly escalates project blockers.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the company’s technology solutions and best practices.
  • Follow implementation and security standards; continue to expand knowledge in various technologies.
  • Travel regionally as required; support weekend work and on‑call rotation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing, supporting, or administering enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
  • Experience in at least the following areas:
    1. Microsoft Windows Server & Desktop operating systems and architecture.
    2. Multi‑factor authentication (Duo, Microsoft MFA).
    3. Enterprise storage (SAN, NAS) configuration and deployment.
    4. Cloud technologies (O365, Intune, Azure AD, etc.).
    5. Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, NTFS permissions.
    6. Remote access technologies (Citrix, RDS, VPN).
    7. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VoIP, and telecommunications platforms.
    8. Data‑center hardware, cabling, IDF, MDF.
    9. VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V configuration and migration.
    10. Endpoint security, email security, and backup solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer support skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Highly self‑motivated, able to prioritize tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio).
  • Ability to work in a high‑energy, team environment.
  • Drug test required; eligible employees must be able to pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment drug test.
