Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of deployment, implementation, or technical program management in healthcare.
• Direct experience serving healthcare customers or working inside a healthcare org.
• Fluent in provider/payor/life sciences workflows and dynamics.
• Ability to interrogate unfamiliar data schemas and validate outputs.
• Hands-on comfort with engineering systems, terminals, and git workflows.

Role Mission

As a Deployment Strategist at Hippocratic AI, you own healthcare AI deployments end-to-end - from workflow discovery and solution design, through hands-on build/configuration, launch, adoption, and measurable business impact - for health systems, providers, payors, or life sciences organizations. You'll own a defined deployment workstream or major customer milestone: establishing stakeholder relationships, identifying technical and operational dependencies, and driving a clear path to measurable value in real clinical and operational environments.

This role exists because successful AI deployments in healthcare require more than project management alone. It requires someone who understands clinical and operational workflows, can build trust with executive customer stakeholders, can connect product capabilities to operational needs, and can drive hands-on technical execution through ambiguity. You will serve as both a strategic partner and an execution lead - combining technical delivery, healthcare operations fluency, and executive customer partnership to help customers move from interest to implementation to lasting impact.

The Team

You’ll work alongside engineers, product managers, customer success partners, and clinical experts, partnering closely with customers while staying deeply connected to internal cross functional teams. You’ll operate with significant ownership, balancing strategic customer guidance with day to day execution. This is a team that values customer obsession, clear communication, operational rigor, and practical problem solving in real healthcare setting.

What You'll Do

• Get to the real problem behind what the customer is asking for - understand their business deeply enough to scope a solution that actually meets their objectives
• Design and build agents capable of handling complex, high-stakes healthcare conversations
• Map how data moves: from the customer's systems into the conversation, and from the conversation back out as insight. Scope what needs to be built to make that flow work, and partner with engineering to ship it
• Own the implementation end to end: everything including bringing customer stakeholders along on adopting AI, configuring the agent to their workflows, managing timelines, documenting solutions, and getting ahead of blockers before they become problems. You'll have a broad set of responsibilities from partnering with customer operational leaders to configuring call schedules.
• Work with forward deployed engineers to spec new AI features to enhance customer deployments
• Capture learnings from deployments and turn them into repeatable playbooks, templates, and best practices that improve future implementations
• Develop analytics and create dashboards to track deployment performance
• Use deployment insights to inform internal product and process improvements, helping the organization deliver more effectively at scale

Location Requirement

This is a United States-based role open to candidates across multiple markets. We welcome applications from candidates located throughout the U.S. Specific placement, travel expectations, and regional alignment will be determined during the hiring process based on customer proximity, deployment portfolio needs, and your location. You should expect regular travel, typically 25 to 40% depending on deployment schedule, for on site implementation support, customer meetings, training, and go live activities.

Must Haves

• 4+ years of relevant experience in deployment, implementation, strategic operations, consulting, solution architecture, or technical program management - however that experience was accrued
• Direct experience serving healthcare customers, or working inside a healthcare organization
• Working knowledge of provider-side, payor-side, or life sciences workflows, operations, and organizational dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to reason about data models: you can interrogate a schema you have not seen before, build or direct an analysis against it, and tell when an output is wrong
• Hands-on comfort with engineering systems - JSON files, terminals, command-line coding assistants, and git workflows
• A track record of project-managing complex customer engagements across operational, clinical, IT, and executive stakeholders simultaneously
• BA/BS in a technical field (engineering, science, analytics, economics, or similar)

Nice to Haves

• SQL
• Epic experience, including Clarity, Caboodle, or Cogito work, or Epic certification
• A clinical background - RN, BSN, clinical informatics, or similar
• Forward-deployed, implementation, or solutions work at an AI, data platform, or health-tech company
• HL7 or FHIR fluency
• Experience with utilization management, prior authorization, care management, revenue cycle, or value-based care programs
• Prior exposure to LLM-based or agentic products in production
