Job description

Are you a credentialed accounting or tax professional who wants to shape how AI transforms client work? As a Deployed AI Strategist, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between our product and end users. You will lead the hands-on deployment of AI solutions directly within accounting, tax, and audit firms, embedding yourself in their workflows to ensure successful adoption. You are the trust-layer: a credentialed professional who speaks the language of the customer, understands the regulatory environment, and guides practitioners through natural language workflow construction as a trusted advisor. You will partner closely with forward-deployed engineers to translate client needs into technical requirements and rapidly iterate on solutions in the field. This role requires strong collaboration with internal teams (product management, engineering, sales, and customer success) to deliver customers a seamless experience with new-to-market AI solutions.

About the Role
In the role of Deployed AI Strategist, you will:
  • Lead customer discovery to understand existing processes, identify automation opportunities, and assess use case feasibility
  • Guide customers through workflow construction using natural language prompting, building reusable skill templates and a prompt library scalable across service lines
  • Identify, document, and elevate edge cases, output quality issues, and domain-specific gaps to product and engineering; participate in feature testing to close the feedback loop
  • Partner with sales during pre-close engagements to provide technical credibility and workflow demonstrations
  • Track and report on value realization metrics for assigned accounts, including time saved, review cycles reduced, and engagement throughput
  • Develop and deliver training resources to customers, enabling them to self-serve on identified use cases
About You
You are a fit for the role of Deployed AI Strategist if you have:
  • An active CPA license or equivalent professional credential (required)
  • 3-8 years of public accounting experience, ideally at a regional or national firm (Big 4 experience preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in audit and assurance, tax compliance, or advisory/financial analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Deep familiarity with AI tools and comfort working in early-stage, ambiguous environments
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel for on-site customer workshops
