Job summary

ChildNet, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Full Time Lead Dependency Case Manager to mentor and coach new case managers, attend home visits and court hearings, and oversee case management of assigned children in accordance with agency policy.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, two years of experience in human services or child welfare, and a Certified Child Welfare Professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and coaching to new Dependency Case Managers.
• Attend home visits and court hearings with new case managers.
• Assist Dependency Case Managers with visitation, parental contacts, school, medical and dental reporting requirements.
• Partner with Dependency Case Managers on the completion of reports, writing referrals, attending treatment team meetings, home studies, court appearances, home visits and emergency court hearings coverage.
• Provide case management services to clients in accordance with established guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.
