DEPCOM Power is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the field of engineering within the renewable energy sector. As interns you will work closely with experienced engineers and project managers to support the development and execution of solar power plant projects. This role is located in Bedminster, NJ.

What You Will Do

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of solar power plant projects.
• Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data for project planning.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize project performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on‑site.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on assigned tasks.
• Opportunity to participate in site visits to better understand project execution and cost drivers.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Currently enrolled in a degree or alternative program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related STEM field
• Eligible for full‑time employment on or before Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Exposure to or experience with electrical engineering concepts related to renewables or power systems through coursework, projects, or internships

For this role, we anticipate paying $30 hourly. This role is eligible for overtime.
