Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Department Supervisor to lead and develop department associates, ensuring customers receive exceptional service. You will coach staff, maintain product knowledge, and support merchandising decisions to help the store perform at a high level.

You will collaborate with store and operations teams to optimize customer experience and department operations, driving sales and efficiency in multiple departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of store operations and merchandising practices.

In addition, they provide valuable input into operational and merchandising decisions to the Store Management Team and Operations Team. Department Supervisors have strong product and operational knowledge. Specific store departments may include Building Materials, Decor, Electrical, Flooring, Gardening, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, Pro Account Sales, Tool Rental, Front End, Freight, Receiving, Associate Support, Special Services, and Merchandising Execution or a combination of multiple departments depending on store structure.
