McDonald's in your neighborhood is hiring a Department Manager. This on-site role supports restaurant operations with a focus on training, safety, and inventory, while providing an engaging guest experience.

The position offers flexible scheduling for full-time or part-time hours, with opportunities to advance. You will lead internal functions, delegate tasks, and work closely with the General Manager to meet performance and quality standards in kitchen, people, and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Delegate tasks to team members and report results.
• Support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen, People, Service.
• Oversee Kitchen: supervise food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items.
• Oversee People: hire, train, and schedule restaurant staff to meet sales and profit goals.
• Oversee Service: deliver a memorable guest experience by ensuring all staff is trained and organizing key service areas.
• Partner with restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant.

This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you’ll:

• Take action first: Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Be results oriented: Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
