Job summary

Zara's Jersey City department manager will lead the sales team, ensure stock and merchandising accuracy, and uphold the brand image across the store. You will drive sales through product knowledge, trend awareness, and coaching while coordinating with store leadership.

The role includes analyzing reports, planning layouts, and delivering excellent customer service. A focus on shrinkage reduction and team development is essential for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Control stock and manage your section to achieve the sales objectives.
• Review the news, give locations and mark store/warehouse rotations.
• Global vision of the business, communication with the rest of the managers to unify the client's image.
• Supervise product replenishment.
• Control the merchandising and furniture of the store (walls, collettes, mannequins, tables, shop windows)
• Continuous communication with the general manager and the team.
• Conduct product analysis to carry out actions and improve results.
• Commercial analysis to execute actions that improve sales.
• Ensure customer service standards are met and incidents are resolved.
• Take responsibility and minimize shrinkage.
• Organize the sales team for all commercial tasks and train the staff.
• Identify and propose new profiles for your team.
• Develop, recognize and give feedback for team evolution.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

You are a leader and inspirer of the section's sales team, with great knowledge of product, fashion, social media and trends. Commercial core, with analytical capacity for all the reports we work with, as well as organizational.
